✅I have already completed my studies. Can I still participate?
Yes. You can take part in the alma mentoring program for up to two years after graduating from your studies.

✅I already have a job. Can I still participate?
Yes. Since the mentoring program covers a wide range of topics, you can also participate if, for example, you are interested in founding a company, working on specific challenges in your job, taking next career steps or expanding your professional network.

✅I don't live in Vienna. Can I still participate?
Yes, mentoring is location-independent and can take place online.

✅Can I have more than one mentor?
Yes, but not at the same time. You can only request another mentoring once your current one has ended.
You’re welcome to have initial conversations with different mentors to find the right fit for you – however, we kindly ask that you contact only one mentor at a time. This means that you can request another initial conversation only if the first one does not lead to an ongoing mentoring relationship.

✅Can a mentorship take place in another language?

Yes, mentors can indicate additional languages in their profiles.

✅What do I receive after completing a mentoring?

At the end of your mentoring, you will receive a certificate available for download. You are also warmly invited to celebrate your achievements with other mentors and mentees at the "Celebrate" closing event (held once per semester).

✅My mentor is not responding. What should I do?

If your mentor/mentee does not respond within two weeks, please contact us at alma@univie.ac.at.

✅How can I delete my profile on the platform?

Under "My Data" in your profile, you can either deactivate or delete your account.
