Networking within the "Groups"-feature
Using the "Groups" feature on the alma platform, you can get in contact with other alma mentors according to your own interests. Groups can exchange information online (chat and forum) and meet each other at regular intervals. Groups are administered by users themselves, so you can start your own group at any time.
Free Membership in the Alumni Association of the University of Vienna
As an alma mentor you will receive a membership in the Alumni Association of the University of Vienna, which will stay valid throughout the period in which you are available as a mentor on the alma platform.
Overview of your membership-benefits:
- Information out of the University of Vienna such as the magazine univie and specialized newsletters
- Guided tours through Viennese museums and ticket-raffles for cinema, theatre and concerts
- Discounts for newspapers and magazines such as Der Standard, Falter and DATUM
- Authorisation to purchase discounted computers and laptops with u:book
- Discounts for university services such as language courses, library card, staff-development courses
