Finding a mentor

The mentors on the alma platform are professionally experienced alumni who volunteer their time to support students and recent graduates on their career paths. Every mentor has at least three years of professional experience.

How do I find the right mentor for my individual path?

·      ◾️ Think about the kind of support you are looking for:
Before you start searching for a mentor, take a moment to reflect on the topics and questions you would like to work on during the mentoring. Don´t worry: You don’t need a concrete career plan or clear ideas yet — mentoring can help you figure that out!

·       ◾️Option 1: “Find your Mentor” Function (LINK)
Use the “find your mentor” search function on the platform to filter specifically for a mentor that suits you — for example by field of study, professional area, or expertise.

·       ◾️Option 2: “Mentor List” (LINK)
Alternatively, instead of using filters, you can simply browse through the mentor list. The list is organized into two areas: "Career Entry & Professional Orientation" and "Self-Employment & Entrepreneurship."
