The alma Mentoring Platform

Experience is valuable, especially if it is shared. The alma Mentoring Programme at the University of Vienna pairs up graduates who would like to share their experience with students and graduates who will benefit from their expertise.

This platform aims to support you in all administrative aspects of your mentorship: from getting to know each other to arranging appointments and managing documentation, you can do everything online.

In addition, the alma Mentoring Platform gives you information on specific topics and provides you with support and opportunities to share your know-how and to engage in special networking events.

Every mentor and mentee agree on how they want to approach their mentorship. We recommend that you meet between five and seven times over a period of several months, which will give you enough time for orientation and reflection.

How to become a mentor

The alma Mentoring Programme focuses on supporting people during a career transition, for instance in starting a career, becoming self-employed or working abroad. If you have experience in any of these areas and would like to share your know-how with other people, you can register as a mentor on the alma Mentoring Platform, where future mentees will be able to find and contact you.

How to become a mentee

If you are studying at the University of Vienna or have completed a degree programme and are thinking about your future career, the alma Mentoring Platform will provide you with individual support: here  you can find the right person among all alma mentors to support you throughout your career transition.

On the top right of this page you can register at any time 
as a mentee or mentor.
